    Senior minister

    Josh is originally from McDermott, Ohio, and since you probably don’t know where that is, it is close to Portsmouth, Ohio.  He is a 2006 graduate of Kentucky Christian University with a Bachelor's degree in Preaching, and has been involved in ministry since 2003.  Josh has served in churches in Vanceburg, Kentucky, Sciotoville, Ohio, Hillsboro, Ohio, and returned to Kentucky to serve here at Fairview in June of 2022.  Josh is married to his wife Nellie, who is a teacher at Mason County Intermediate School, and together they have three children, Allie, Brady, and Gunner.  Josh enjoys camping and riding side by sides with the family, hiking, hunting, fishing, and of course watching football and cheering on THE Ohio State Buckeyes!  O-H – I-O!


    Josh is the Senior Minister at Fairview and fills the pulpit most Sundays throughout the year.  Josh has a desire to make God relevant in the lives of those who attend or listen online.  Hoping that his listeners will truly know God and not just know about God, he stives to be very application oriented, “What does this mean in my life?”  With that thought in mind, his favorite scripture is James 1:22 which says: “Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves.  Do what it says.”

  • DAVE MILLER

    youth MINISTER

    Dave, originally from Fort Worth, Texas, has called Joplin, Missouri home for over 24 years.  He graduated from Ozark Christian College with a Bachelor’s degree and is currently pursuing his Master’s degree at Central Christian Bible College.  Since 2001, he has dedicated himself to youth ministry across Missouri, Oklahoma, and Iowa, helping young people grow in faith and discover their purposes.  His background includes over 13 years in the mental health field and experience as a correctional officer in a state prison.


    At home, Dave and his wife Hannah cherish family time with their five children: Christian, Isaiah, Joseph, Tucker, and Jacquelyn.  They enjoy sports, games, walks, and watching WWE together.  Dave also loves riding his bike and leading Zumba Fitness classes.  As the associate/youth minister at Fairview Christian Church since August 2024, Dave strives to create a welcoming environment for youth from 6th grade to college age to deepen their relationship with Christ.  Inspired by Psalm 119:11, "I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you," he emphasizes the importance of internalizing God’s Word.

  • Lauren Elliott

    Children's Director

    Lauren is a lifelong Bracken County resident.  She's an experienced educator of 18+ years and currently serves as an art teacher in Pendleton County.  She received her Bachelor of Education in 2005, Master of Education in Gifted Studies in 2007, and Master of Education in Educational Leadership in 2008.  She and her husband Mark have three children and a spoiled dog who thinks she's another sibling.  As a family, they enjoy serving in church, camping, and going on family adventures.  As the Children's Director since April of 2024, Lauren's mission is to glorify God by bringing her students closer to Him in their personal faith and to see them thrive as they grow and mature.  Her favorite scripture is Jeremiah 29:11 which says: "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord," plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and future."

    administrative Assistant

    Kelly is a resident of Pendleton County.  Kelly grew up attending Fairview and is excited to serve as part of the staff.  She is a 2012 graduate of Northern Kentucky University with a Bachelor's degree in Finance.  Kelly is married to her husband, Tyler, and together they have three children, Easton, Jesse, and Owen.  Kelly enjoys any adventures with the family which always keeps them on the go!  One of her favorite Bible verses is Colossians 3:23 which says: "Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people."
